Josh Ritter – Love Is Making Its Way Back Home from Josh Ritter on Vimeo.

Starting today’s post off with a mind blowing music video from Josh Ritter, which was made using 12,000 (!) sheets of paper. No special effects were used, say when the paper Josh Ritter is singing along with the words, or during the psychedelic color explosion at the end. That’s all just straight up paper. Amazing. The video was made by Prominent Figures, but I couldn’t find source info as to the individuals who actually cut those 12,000 sheets of paper.

This delicious piece of eye candy is one page of paper artist extraordinaire Jared Andrew Schorr’s website. If you click the photo, you can visit his site and take a look around. Clicking the Illustration sign will take you to his portfolio which is overflowing with any number of works that I could have featured here, but I just couldn’t get over the web design. It’s got so much fun and depth and character. Kudos, Jared Andrew Schorr. Kudos.

I just love the colors in these strange and wonderful illustrations by Eiko Ojala, a paper artist from Estonia. His site says that these were personal illustrations for a solo exhibition called “Teine lõige” at Von Krahl, Tallinn in Estonia.  I don’t understand half of those words, but his work is beautiful.
