Monday Link Love

Monday’s suck and my weekend wasn’t much better. I’m seriously falling behind on getting stuff done lately. Let’s hope this week finds me getting caught back up. Here’s a pretty sweet papercraft portrait of Thom Yorke from the band Radiohead by Miguel Dias and it was done for a school project. Isn’t that impressive? You should look at his site, because there are some pretty cool in process shots of this illustration.
This was apparently made to be an award for Best Beast Maker in what I’m assuming is a design/illustration event in the Netherlands by artist Sigrid Spier. She has some other similar creations on her behance. Love the effect she’s getting by stacking the sheets of paper. I think these would be fun in a nursery.
This one was done by a studio called Bomboland for a contest by AirCanada. There is so much going on in this illustration and all of it is awesome. You can click the image to see more close up detail shots of this illustration or just browse around their website to see tons of papercraft illustrations they’ve done for various magazines.
